Our History |
Yockey began JCW in January 1998 when the economic trends required grain handling storage equipment for producers in the high plains. Shortages of quality contractors to meet demand resulted in opportunities for growth and diversity. Developing and gathering experience through partnerships with innovative local contractors like Selden Concrete operated by Bill Bainter and Dave Zodrow in Selden, Kansas; Bainter Construction Services operated by Wesley Bainter in Hoxie, Kansas and Roberts Millwright Service operated by Donny Roberts in Salina, Kansas. Relationships with these sought-after quality contractors influenced Yockey to grow and develop quality standards in designing and application of cost effective solutions, and valuing customer communication.
In 2004 Yockey relocated to Grand Junction, CO. He saw the need for quality, timely and professional welding in the Oil and Gas Industry, bringing with him 17 years of construction industry knowledge. Yockey secured contract service agreements with BJ Services in Grand Junction, CO; Cudd Energy in Grand Junction, CO; Baker Hughes in Grand Junction and Brighton, CO; Legion Oil and Gas in North Dakota and Brighton, CO; Sanjel in Ft. Lupton, CO and many others. Fabrication methods and timely service resulted in years of patronage by big oil companies seeking cost effective strategies relating to equipment requirements, NOW solutions resulting in huge profits because of timely implementation, equipment leasing, designing, and safety applications to compliment complex mobile power equipment for field service. |
